UNDERSTANDING GRATITUDE!!

 


What if we Ate metal?

And lived on chemical

What if we were stuck on the ground?

And then there is no one around

What if we did not have any feelings?

And have no power of healing

What if we were homeless?

And have no business

What if we were all alone?

With an old telephone and empty society

What if we could not communicate?

And cannot translate

What if we slept on the streets?

Without any sheets

What if we were stuck on an island?

Where silence can haunt us


Now think!!

“Should we complain or be gratified?

Should we thank or crank?

Aren’t we lucky??

    Poignant Poetry... Kirthana!! I'm bowled by your thought-process to accurately choose the rhyming words and still retain the flow of emotion.

Misunderstanding!
